Tests & quizzes
Keep the quiz on its allowed sites. Attention changes move through a grace period and warning before teacher unlock is needed. Other extensions can be paused, then restored.
Reading & classwork
Use the sites you choose and quiet website notifications. A countdown keeps time; nothing locks, and early endings appear in the summary.
After the activity
Students share a report from their device. Start with the summary, then use the timeline to understand what happened.
Signals are observations, never accusations. Notifications, input tools, and ChromeOS gestures can cause an attention change without cheating.
A verification code helps reveal casual edits to the record. It does not prove who produced it or what happened off-screen.
Sample session report
40 minutes of a 45-minute session
1 attention signal, recovered promptly.
20 seconds away from the quiz in total.

Before your first session
Install on the devices you plan to use, check the activity site, and try a session before class. School policies may block Developer mode or unpacked extensions, so ask IT to verify a managed device first.
The extension isn’t in the Chrome Web Store, and there’s no setup yet for schools to install it automatically on managed devices. Reports stay on the student's device until they choose to share them; they contain a self-entered name and a timeline, never page content.
